The story behind Ande G. Design

In the beginning, quilting was simply something that brought a sense of fulfillment.

Not long after, I began making stand mixer covers—one of them for my mom. That's when I started to notice something. The table runners she bought from the store never seemed to last. I remember staring at one in particular, thinking about how unremarkable it looked! They all had that same look—like old wallpaper that no one wanted.

So, I decided to test the skills I had gained and make one for my mom—something unique, thoughtfully designed, and stitched to last. After all, she deserves the best!

From there, the creative spark kept growing. I began refining my skills even more, exploring appliqué, and soon wall hangings joined the collection. What began as a quiet creative outlet slowly blossomed into a handmade studio filled with quilted pieces designed to bring joy, personality and happiness into the homes they live in.

But the most meaningful part has always been what happens after a piece leaves the studio.

It's the moment it arrives at its new home… placed on a table, hung on a wall, or becoming part of a gathering with family and friends. These pieces are more than décor. They're small treasures, stitched with care and created to bring personality and pure joy into the spaces where life is lived.
